After following several visual art courses at the Willem De Kooning Academy in Rotterdam,
Johan Vanderpol started the fulltime study at the Utrecht School of Arts.
Graduated in 2009 as Bachelor of Theatre, he has worked both as an actor and theatre maker for several productions. After the invitation to participate in the International Arena Theatre Festival in Germany, he founded the performance group T-ARTE; a cross-media cooperation with virtual designer Theo van Wijk.
Since 2011 he also coordinates art events at the exhibition space of museum Het Grachtenhuis.
